Police Rescue Kangaroo
From Drowning in Ocean A kangaroo struggling in the waters of Safety Beach was rescued by Police in Victoria, Australia. Victoria police said in a statement the report of the swimming kangaroo came in around 5pm local time. A viral video shows police dragging the kangaroo back to shore. Mia Grant, who filmed the video, told Reuters that two people had tried to save the kangaroo and brought it onto shore, but the marsupial hopped back into the water. The kangaroo was later brought to the Rosebud Police Station to be assessed by a local wildlife center.
