The nation's yearly cumulative exports surpassed 500 billion U.S. dollars as of 5:05 PM today.
According to the Trade ministry, the nation sets a new record for achieving such annual feat in October.
The ministry says that the nation's annual exports may set a record for the largest amount of exports at the end of the year.
The ministry added that... despite the ongoing trade war between the U.S. and China,... and rapid changes in the global finance market, South Korea's exports show strong numbers thanks to diversification of export products and utilization of the Free Trade Agreement.
