Upcoming Voting Deadlines In Illinois

Although many states have deadlines to register to vote for the 2018 midterm elections, Illinois does not. According to Business Insider, in Illinois you can register to vote on Election Day. Yet an absentee ballot application is a bit different and by mail the deadline is Nov. 1 and in person Nov. 5. But if none of that appeals to you, Illinois also allows you to vote early before Election Day. But if you simply want to vote on Election Day, keep in mind polls open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
