Thousands join emotional vigil for shooting victims in Pittsburgh

Thousands of people gathered in Pittsburgh late on Saturday for an emotional vigil for the victims of the deadly synagogue shooting. Braving a light rain, they said prayers and sang in memory of those killed and wounded. Several blamed the shooting on the political climate and said they took little solace in a planned visit by President Donald Trump. A gunman who's believed to have spewed anti-Semitic slurs and rhetoric on social media barged into a baby-naming ceremony at the synagogue on Saturday and opened fire, killing 11 people in one of the deadliest attacks on Jews in US history.
