BJP Youth Summit: Telangana fight expected to be tri-cornered

Top leaders of the BJP will be in Hyderabad today to attend the 3 day youth summit which is being organised just ahead of the assembly polls in the state. The event is being seen as an exercise to boost the BJP’s confidence for the upcoming December 7 elections in Telangana. The BJP will be seeking to better its 2014 performance when it won just five out of the 119 seats, that too with a pre-poll alliance with the Telugu Desam party. The BJP and TDP parted ways earlier this year. The BJP is now going to be up against caretaker CM KCR-led Telangana Rashtra Samithi and the congress-led grand alliance, which includes the TDP, Telangana Jana Samithi and the CPI(M).
