Interim CBI Chief Won't Take Policy Decisions," Says Chief Justice. Alok Verma, former Chief of the CBI, filed a petition in the Supreme Court for sending him on leave and for making Nageshwar Rao the interrogator director. In this case, the Supreme Court has examined the inquiry within two weeks during the hearing and sought the response. Also Nageshwar Rao has refused to take any decision.

सीबीआई के पूर्व चीफ आलोक वर्मा ने खुद को जबरन छुट्टी पर भेजने और नागेश्वर राव को अंतिरम निर्देशक बनाए जाने को लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट में याचिका दायर की थी । इस मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने सुनवाई के दौरान 2 हफ्ते के अंदर जांच कर जवाब मांगा है । साथ ही नागेश्वर राव को कोई भी फैसला लेने से मना कर दिया है ।
