SIOUXSIE SIOUX – "HERE COMES THAT DAY" (Official promo video, 29 October 2007)

This is the second single taken from Siouxsie’s critically acclaimed first solo album MANTARAY. The album was released on 10 September 2007 in the UK & Europe and on 18 September 2007 in the USA. It stayed for two weeks in total in the UK Top100 Album chart peaking at #39 on 22 September 2007.
Siouxsie: "It's one of my favorites on MANTARAY. A real ‘Bond-meets-stripper burlesque’. It will most likely be the next single in the UK. It would make a great video!... My vision of the video is a very empowered stripper in front of a culprit, one of the many guys there who has double lives or whatever. She becomes far too raw, progressive and confrontational and very violent even. She might be swinging a nipple tassle and then..." – she mimes this with some relish – "... take his eye out with it!"
Due to budget restrictions a live video was filmed instead and the studio version of the song was then dubbed into it. The video-shooting took place live @ the Revolving Restaurant, Eiffel Tower, Paris, France on Tuesday, 28 September 2007. It was directed & produced by HASH7 Managing Brand Partnerships (tbc). The video exclusive of "Here Comes That Day" was first made available on the videos page of the (now defunct) official Siouxsie site on Thursday, 1st November 2007, before being added to the (now also defunct) W14 Universal site and other video community sites on the following day.
Single released (UK): 29 October 2007.
Though the track entered the UK Top200 Singles mid-week chart (prior to its official release date) peaking at #93, it finally landed at #103 on 10 November 2007, which happened to be its highest chart position officially, staying in total for one week only, before exiting for good in the following week.
