Flight Attendant Allegedly Stole $5,000 From Passenger Wallets

A flight attendant has been accused of stealing money from passengers.

Boing Boing reports that a flight attendant is being accused of stealing around $5,000 from the wallets of three brothers flying from Bangkok to Dubai on Emirates. 
According to the Khaleej Times, the incident is said to have occurred in June, with the 37-year-old suspect being charged with theft in Dubai. 
As one of the alleged victims told the news outlet: "My two brothers and I were flying business class and were on our way back from Bangkok. Our father, who was flying business class, too, suddenly fell ill. We left our belongings and wallets on our seats and went to check on him." 
However, when they got back to their seats, they reportedly discovered the missing money which led to airline staff and the authorities being notified. 
According to the Nation, fingerprint evidence implicated the suspect who is said to have eventually confessed to flushing the money down the toilet and is facing a trial.
