As part of The Bright Fight, Kristen & I continue our quest to save the planet by getting folks to pledge to stop using single-use plastic straws on the Santa Monica Pier in Los Angeles. Fans, friends and other members of The Bright Fight join as I educate on the environmental implications of using plastic straws namely that they cannot be composted or recycled and so end up in the ocean, killing fish, turtles and damaging the earth. With the help of AT&T Hello Lab, I set up a pledge on Santa Monica pier: my friends & I try to get people to say that the straw that they are using is their last straw.
