Sarkar marks the return of AR Murugadoss & #Vijay combo after the Back to Back Blockbuster Thuppaaki & Kaththi. The project is funded by Media Moghul Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures, whom is returning to production after long hiatus.

The expectations are sky high already with the songs composed by Isaipuyal AR Rahman creating right buzz. Keerthy Suresh & Varalaxmi are the leading heroines while Yogi Babu takes care of comic part.
