More than 155,000 residents in the Florida Panhandle are living without power a week on from Hurricane Michael's landfall on Mexico Beach.

This video shows linemen and their service trucks in Panama City, where the hurricane eradicated structures and caused widespread destruction.

The number of hurricane-related deaths has risen to 33 as rescue efforts proceed underway. About 1,100 people are unaccounted for.

More than 16,000 people are living in shelters, many of them having lost their homes in what was the most powerful storm to hit the continental US in nearly 50 years.
