Idris Elba will join Taylor Swift and James Corden in the big screen adaptation of the hit musical.
The movie based on Andrew Lloyd Webber’s iconic play will also feature Jennifer Hudson.
Early reports suggest Elba will play Macavity the Mystery Cat, essentially the musical’s villain.
Macavity was originally portrayed by Kenneth Ard in the 1982 Broadway production.
