Louisville Football Player Arrested For Assault

Louisville sophomore tight end Kemari Averett has been suspended from the team. Averett was recently arrested and charged with first-degree endangerment and fourth-degree assault. He is accused of grabbing his girlfriend’s hair, putting a gun to her head, and threatening to kill her. Deadspin reports Averett is currently being held in a Louisville jail on $10,000 bond.
