According to Business Insider, the Dow Jones jump about 600-points in one day.
Rising over 200-points during morning trading on Oct. 16th, the Dow Jones kept climbing throughout the afternoon.
But the Dow has ended four of the last five trading sessions in the red.
Boosted by strong earnings reports and positive economic data, the Dow Jones gained about 2.5-percent on the day, which marks its best day since March.
