Sant Rampal convicted in 2 murder cases; quantum of punishment to pronounced today

Hisar turns into fortress as quantum of sentence will be pronounced against self styled Godman Sant Rampal who was found guilty in 2 murder cases. Rampal was convicted last week by the Hisar court on charges of murder in a 2006 case relating to the death of a woman supporter in his ashram. He was also convicted on charges of murder in the 2014 case. That dealt with deaths of 5 women and a child. Security has been beefed up in Hisar to avoid a Ram Rahim like situation where supporters went on a rampage.
