The Trump administration ended a contract for a project working with plutonium from Cold War-era bombs. According to Reuters, the project was going to convert the plutonium into power. CB&I Areva MOX Services LLC was the one building the Mixed Oxide project. The project that was to cost tens of billions of dollars had begun since 2007. MOX Services has not responded to the halting of their project.
