Parker Kane from Rexburg, Idaho was filmed by his friends making an impromptu dubstep tune while beatboxing into the top of the straw.
Using it to control the pitch, the beatboxer moved it up and down and made a series of sounds to the delight of his friends.
The straw also amplified the sound in a unique way to make it appear as if his voice was being played through an audio processor.
One person wrote to me: 'This is the best video I have seen all day!' while another added: 'Skrillex should learn a thing or two from him.'
