hurricane were reported
from Florida to Virginia. They include an 11-year-old
Georgia girl and a Virginia
firefighter who was responding
to an emergency call. Brock Long, FEMA chief, via 'The New York Times' More than 1.5 million people
are without electricity. Some of the poorest areas
of the Florida panhandle
were hit the hardest. Mexico Beach and
Panama City were devastated. In some areas, the hurricane
flattened entire blocks
and crippled infrastructure. Officials are hopeful to find survivors.
