NewsX accesses copy of Indo-France joint statement during State Visit of President of France to India in March. PM Narendra Modi and France President Emmanuel Macron co-hosted the founding summit of the international solar alliance in New Delhi. Both sides also agreed to create an annual Defence dialogue at the ministerial level. Sources in the Defence Ministry have responded to Rahul Gandhi's allegations on Defence Minister's visit to France. They say that it is an annual ministerial dialogue, decided in March 2018 between both the countries. The visit is pre-planned and France Defence Minister has also visited India. Hence, it was India's turn to visit for talks.
