India shooter Saurabh Chaudhary clinched the gold medal in the 10m air pistol event at the Youth Olympic Games on Wednesday. This is India’s third gold medal in Buenos Aires and the fourth medal overall for the shooting contingent. Chaudhary shot 244.2 to ensure a finish on top of the podium eclipsing South Korea’s Sung Yunho by 7.5 points (236.7). Switzerland’s Solari Jason stood third with 215.6.

टीम इंडिया के युवा निशानेबाज सौरभ चौधरी ने युवा ओलंपिक खेलों में पुरूषों की दस मीटर एयर पिस्टल में स्वर्ण पदक जीता. 16 साल के चौधरी ने 244.2 अंक बनाये और वह दक्षिण कोरिया के सुंग युन्हो 236.7 अंकों से आगे रहे. स्विट्जरलैंड के सोलारी जैसन ने 215.6 अंक बनाकर कांस्य पदक जीता. आपको बता दें, इस भारतीय खिलाड़ी ने आठ निशानेबाजों के बीच चले फाइनल मुकाबले में दस और इससे अधिक के 18 स्कोर बनाये. एशियाई खेल और जूनियर आईएसएसएफ विश्व चैंपियनशिप के स्वर्ण पदक विजेता सौरभ चौधरी क्वालीफाईंग में 580 अंक लेकर टॉप पर रहे थे.
