Opposition Venezuelan lawmaker Fernando Albán, who had been jailed for his suspected role in an assassination attempt on President Nicolás Maduro, has died. Officials said he died by suicide by jumping from the 10th floor of the building where he was being held. His supporters are accusing the government of killing him.
