BMW M6 2018 Car Review

The new model will depend on the BMW F12/F13 and shares its 7-speed M-DCT gearbox, BMW S63 V8 engine along with other technology while using BMW M5 (F10). The M6 coupé includes a carbon-fibre roof as well as other weight saving measures, which makes it 20 kg (44 lb) lighter as opposed to M5, yet it is 140 kg (309 lb) heavier than its predecessor. The M6 convertible is 50 kg (110 lb) heavier as opposed to previous M6 Convertible. The official claimed performance figures state the acceleration from 0–62 mph (0–100 km/h) in 4.2 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h) using the de-limited top speed being 189 mph (304 km/h) while using optional M-driver's package. The design language in the M6 was similar towards the then M series cars. The front in the car includes a newly designed M kidney grille by having an “M6” badge – a homage for the first generation in the M6.
