Union Minister Jitendra Singh and former Jammu and Kashmir Deputy CM Kavinder Gupta cast their votes in Jammu during the first phase of local body elections on Monday. After giving vote, Jitendra Singh said, “Questions should be asked to those who prevented people from such elections for so long. Through such elections people celebrate democracy.” Meanwhile, Kavinder Gupta said, “BJP is supporting the elections. Through these elections, people will get a new leader. We have full confidence that we will come with full majority.” Polling started for the first phase in Jammu today.
