Maneka Gandhi says happy that #MeToo campaign started in India. Union Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi met four women Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in New Delhi on Monday. The minister met the DCPs over the issue of begging by children on streets. She also chalked out strategies with the DCPs to solve the issue. She took the opportunity to talk about the budding ‘Me Too’ campaign.

मेनका ने सोमवार को यह जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि वह बहुत खुश हैं कि ‘#मी टू' अभियान भारत में भी शुरू हो गया है और इससे महिलाओं को सामने आकर शिकायत करने का हौसला मिला है.उन्होंने संवाददाताओं से कहा, ‘जिसने उत्पीड़न किया है, उसे पीड़िता कभी नहीं भूल सकती. हमने कानून मंत्रालय को लिखा है कि किसी आयुसीमा के बगैर लोगों को शिकायत करने की अनुमति होनी चाहिए.'
