Kellyanne Conway weighed in on Brett Kavanaugh's confirmation to the Supreme Court.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said that many women saw "our husbands, our sons" in Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh who was narrowly confirmed Saturday despite being accused of sexual assault.
During an appearance on ABC News' "This Week," Conway said of the controversy surrounding Kavanaugh, "this has been a very low point for many people whose job it was to advise and consent the president on judicial nominations."
She then said of the opposition: "They wanted America to look up and see Brett Kavanaugh as a gang rapist, and a lot of women, including me in America, looked up and saw a man who was [a target of]...political character assassination, and also we looked up and saw in him possibly our husbands, our sons, our cousins, our coworkers, our brothers, and this was unfair." Kavanaugh was sworn in Saturday after a 50-48 Senate vote.
According to the New York Times, it was "one of the slimmest margins in American history."
Despite the outcome, crowds continued to protest the decision, with many citing the accusations of sexual misconduct lodged against him since his nomination by President Trump.
