Ahead of the mega showdown in 2019 - The Election Commission of India has announced the much awaited poll dates for the upcoming state polls in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram assembly elections. The EC made the announcement in a press conference a short while ago. The model code of conduct is in the five states. These elections are expected to set the tone for the next year’s Lok Sabha polls. Parties have already started talks for poll alliances and for finalising candidates.
