बीते कई दिनों से आम जनता पेट्रोल और डीजल के लगातार बढ़ रहे दामों से परेशान थी । लेकिन इस बीच वितमंत्री अरुण जेटली ने पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतो में 2.50 रुपए कम करने का ऐलान किया जिसके बाद राज्य सरकारों ने भी पेट्रोल की कीमतों में 2.50 रुपए की कमी की , इसके साथ ही पेट्रोल और डीजल की कीमतों में कुल मिलाकर 5 रुपए की कमी आई है । ये सभी राज्य बीजेपी शासित है ।
