A low-flying police helicopter wreaks havoc outside University Park, Pennsylvania, sending tents and debris flying.

Pennsylvania State Police used low-flying helicopters to disperse unruly party-goers and alleged underage drinkers before the big Ohio State/Penn State football game Saturday afternoon.

Ohio State and Penn State college teams have a historic rivalry, and Saturday's game was the most watched of the season.

Since the helicopter scandal and subsequent outcry, Pennsylvania State Police has rescinded the use of helicopters to make announcements outside the football stadium, according to AP.

"We understand concerns have been raised ... it is rare to resort to these expanded interventions," Penn State Police and Public Safety said in a statement released on Twitter.

The Federal Aviation Administration said that is is also investigating a complaint about the incident, according to the agency.
