A Cheery Fed Chair Says Americans Need No Longer Fear Economic 'Scourge'

U.S. Fed Chair Jerome Powell on Tuesday hailed a “remarkably positive outlook” for the U.S. economy.
In fact, it's on the verge of a “historically rare” era of ultra-low unemployment and tame prices for the foreseeable future.
Reuters reports Powell said Tuesday his view is based on how a changed economy is operating today.
Today, Powell said, businesses and households are immunized by strong central bank policy.
