Police cracked down on pro-Independence protesters who were blocking access to the stock exchange headquarters in Barcelona earlier today.
Footage captured this morning shows activists from the CDRs (Committees for the Defense of the Republic) standing in front of the entrance to the building shouting ‘'Fora, fora, la bandera española'’ (Out, out the Spanish flag).
The action took place as part of a series of pro-independence protests across Catalonia to mark the anniversary of the banned referendum last year.
