Karnataka's education minister, N. Mahesh drew parallel between pvt school students and parrots

Karnataka's education minister, N. Mahesh irked the managements of private schools when he drew a parallel between pvt school students and parrots. He compared govt school students to eagles, calling them more intelligent than their pvt school counterparts. He also called the teachers in pvt schools 'nuns' for enforcing too much discipline which kills creativity. His statements have not gone down well with the managements of pvt schools who have demanded his resignation.
