Kavanaugh’s 36-Year-Old Calendar Entry Could Be Part Of FBI Probe

A 36-year-old calendar entry could become a key piece of evidence in the FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and a sexual assault allegation against him.

A 36-year-old calendar entry could become a key piece of evidence in the FBI investigation into Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and a sexual assault allegation against him.
According to the Washington Post, on the date of July 1, 1982, then-17-year-old Kavanaugh had written on a calendar, "Go to Timmy's for skis with Judge, Tom, P.J., Bernie and Squi."
During his testimony before Congress Thursday, he explained the entry by saying, "It looks like we went over to Timmy's."
Kavanaugh reportedly went on to identify those listed as fellow Georgetown Prep classmate Tim Gaudette as well as Mark Judge and Patrick "P.J." Smyth.
Though Kavanaugh suggested the calendar supports his case, Democrats have pointed out that specific entry may corroborate the claim of accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford who has named Smyth and Judge as attendees of the party where the sexual assault against her allegedly happened.
And there is speculation that the "skis" Kavanaugh mentioned refers to "brewskis" or beers which could corroborate her testimony that he and Judge appeared to have been drinking.
In fact, during the Congressional hearing, Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse brought up the coincidences in the calendar entry and Dr. Ford's account before saying: "This may, may be powerful corroborating evidence that the assault happened, that it happened that day and that it happened at that place."
For their parts, Kavanaugh has declared his innocence, and Judge and Smyth have denied any recollection of that night or any assault.
