He's a one-man garage punk band consisting of Joe Koontz simultaneously strumming his guitar, stompin' on drums and belting out vocals with catchy sing-along hooks. Picture no-frills stripped-down raw-to-the bone rock ’n’ roll, topped with punk rock attitude and sprinkled with blues and roots. Put that together and you get The MC1!
With years of experience as guitarist/songwriter for the now defunct punk band Against All Authority, it's no surprise how one person can create such a powerful sonic force.
Long time friend, Lone Wolf OMB says; "The MC1 is the Clash of one man bands. Fusing genres to his likings he creates something new and innovative and at the same time fun and energetic."
