Huge pyrocumulus cloud from Charlie Fire looms above pool-splashing families at Six Flags

The fast-moving Charlie Fire near Castaic, northwest of Los Angeles, spread to 3,380 acres on Sunday, September 23.

This video, filmed at Six Flags Hurricane Harbour in Valencia, shows a massive pyrocumulus cloud from the fire.

According to local media, the blaze broke out at 2:40 pm on Saturday, spreading quickly and prompting evacuations in the area. Roads in the vicinity were also shut.

Latest figures as of the evening showed the fire at 20% containment. Officials said no structures were damaged and no injuries were reported.
