One Week After Florence, Flooding Still Threatens South Carolina

According to a report by Reuters, on Friday, residents of Georgetown County, South Carolina, where five rivers flow out into the ocean, were bracing for a deluge of water in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, which has already killed at least 40 people. The county of 60,000 people is one of several areas in the Carolinas waiting anxiously for rivers to crest, one week after Florence dropped nearly three feet of rain on the region.
