Imran Peace Offer: India responds to Pakistan PM's letter; meet is not resumption of talks, says MEA

Diplomacy is meant as a tool that prevents war. So what diplomacy can work at a time when a constant proxy war is on. One side armed with terrorists, the other having to defend it's citizenry. Imran certainly knows how to play cricket, now his masters in Rawalpindi have brought him into the great game. He's playing it well. In the past month since taking over, he's managed to have Navjot Singh Sidhu rake up all sorts of political wars in India by inviting him to his swearing in. Now he's offered meetings, an invitation to Narendra Modi to Islamabad and a suggestion that Sushma Swaraj meet with rabid army proxy Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who infamously last served during the 26/11 attacks. To boot, he's said Pakistan is ready to discuss terrorism. It's a clever move.
