Former Chicago Police Commander Jon Burge, 70, has died, according to the Fraternal Order of Police. Burge and detectives under his watch were accused of torturing as many as 200 black suspects by using physical force, suffocation and electric shocks to coerce confessions during the 70`s and 80`s.
