Woman 'avoids roof tile crashing to ground on patio' amid heavy winds

A woman narrowly avoided a flying roof tile brought to ground by heavy winds as Storm Ali batters Ireland.
Footage captured this morning (September 19) in Claregalway, County Galway, shows trees and bushes buffetting in the 80 mph winds.
Suddenly, a heavy tile smashes to the ground outside right in front of the filmer – where she was reportedly standing just moments before.
The filmer, Edel Joyce, writes: "I had a close call this morning.
"I had just come in from tying down the soccer net when a huge gust whipped up and knocked the tiles off our roof.
"I was only standing there minutes before they came down."
