Glitterbox presents The Shapeshifter’s summer hit ‘Try My Love (On For Size)’ featuring the undeniably stunning voice of Teni Tinks. The single is a re-imagining of the Sharon Redd disco anthem from 1980, now with fresh horns, strings and arrangements. Remaining reverent to the label’s feel-good vibrancy, the official video stars Teni Tinks in a sunshiny rooftop scene as well as two skaters in various colour-bursting graffitied locations in London.
Produced by Simon Marlin aka The Shapeshifters, this release is as life-affirming and uplifting as a dancefloor belter can get. Teni is a session vocalist and arranger who has worked with the likes of Rudimental, Quincy Jones, The Jacksons and Emeli Sandé and has recently been bringing down the house with live PAs at Glitterbox. ‘Try My Love (On For Size)’ is yet another wonderfully high-spirited collaboration from the pair.
