A group of tourists experienced an amazing close encounter with three whales off Queensland, Australia.
The footage shows two adult whales and their calf swimming in the sea surface just a few inches from the tourists’ boat.
The filmer writes: ''We were just cruising along when these three beautiful whales caught out attention.
''They started to swim closer to us and we thought they would just dive under our boat. But instead, they stayed right at the surface as they passed behind the back of our boat. One even touched the tender.
''This was the most amazing experience and this is so rare to see in the wild.''
