The Marine Corps Quietly Helping Border Patrol Monitor Parts Of The Mexico-U.S. Border

According to a report by Business Insider, small teams of Marines, equipped with a suite of advanced sensors and remote monitors, are assisting the US Border Patrol by scanning the most vulnerable sections of the border. These units of Marines, called Ground Sensor Platoons, have been helping to catch drug traffickers and migrants crossing illegally into the United States from Central and South America.
