Korean companies' return on net sales increase, debt ratio decrease in Q2: BOK
  • 6 years ago
South Korean companies' sales rose in the second quarter of this year,.... resulting in higher profitability and a slightly lower debt ratio.
A Bank of Korea survey on about 17-thousand companies shows.... local companies' return on net sales.... hit seven-point-seven percent in the April-to-June period,.... up zero-point-three percent from the same period last year.... thanks to machinery and petrochemicals goods in the manufacturing sector.
But small-and-mid-sized companies saw their return on net sales edge down.... one-tenth-of a percent on-year to.... seven-point-three percent.
As a whole, the debt ratio dropped for both small and big companies.
