These cities will receive mobile 5G capabilities by the end of 2018. AT&T previously announced the expansion of the service to seven other cities. Those include Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Indianapolis, Oklahoma City, Raleigh and Waco. The company plans to roll out 5G in early 2019 to seven more cities across the U.S. AT&T was successful in making the first millimeter wave wireless 5G connection. The company aims to use the new technology in densely populated areas.
