The singer has officially become the first black man to reach the coveted EGOT status. Legend won a
Creative Arts Emmy
for producing Jesus
Christ Superstar Live. He currently has 10 Grammy’s, an Oscar for his song “Glory” and a Tony for his role as a
co-producer for the
production of 'Jitney.' Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice also achieved EGOT Chrissy Teigen celebrated her husband’s accomplishment on social media by posting a picture of him with Webber
and Rice. Chrissy Teigen, via Instagram Legend is also nominated for outstanding actor in a limited series or movie, which will be announced during the live awards. The primetime awards will air on
September 17.
