Bodycam footage has been released for the first time showing the moment a police race relations advisor was Tasered by an officer later cleared of misconduct.

A verbal confrontation can be seen between Judah Adunbi, 45, and PC Claire Boddie, who told him he resembled a wanted man and asked him to produce identification. When he refused to do so, she deployed a Taser on the elderly race relations advisor to Avon and Somerset Constabulary. Video footage filmed by Mr Adunbi’s neighbour in Easton, Bristol, was released at the time and sparked controversy but PC Boddie was cleared of criminal wrongdoing at an assault trial earlier this year.
