Trump Thanks Diamond And Silk Who Say He's Done 'More For Black People Than Any Other President' In Their Lifetime

President Trump has publicly thanked well-known African-American supporters Diamond and Silk who tweeted their love and support for him.

President Trump thanked well-known African-American supporters Diamond and Silk who tweeted their love and support for him, writing, "He's done more for black people than any other President in our lifetime."
Their August 12 message, which tags Trump's personal and official Twitter accounts, ends by stating, "While others may stab him in the back, we will always have his back!"
The president tweeted them back on Saturday, writing, "So nice, thank you both!"
His message to them could be considered another jab at former President Obama who sharply criticized him in Illinois on Friday.
In fact, just before Trump thanked Diamond and Silk, the president tweeted: "The Dems have tried every trick in the playbook-call me everything under the sun. But if I'm all of those terrible things, how come I beat them so badly, 306-223? Maybe they're just not very good! The fact is they are going CRAZY only because they know they can't beat me in 2020!"
According to a New York Times report from April, "Diamond and Silk are African-American sisters, Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson, who became known during the 2016 presidential campaign for their unwavering support of Donald J. Trump."
They have since gained a strong following on social media.
