'The Nun' Creeps Its Way

'The Hollywood Reporter' predicts the supernatural horror film could earn $40 to $45 million in its domestic debut. If projections hold true, the spinoff will have the biggest box office opening of any film
in the franchise. 2013's 'The Conjuring' raked in $41.9 million during its opening weekend, while the 2016 sequel followed with $40.4 million. 'Annabelle' debuted to $37.1 million in 2014, and its sequel earned
$35.1 million. The landmark film has the highest-earning lifetime gross of the entire series, with
$319 million worldwide.
