New York post-punk revival band Interpol released its sixth studio album ‘Marauder’ in late August. As with the rest of the project, the lead single “The Rover” is produced by Dave Fridmann, who is known for his work with The Flaming Lips, Weezer, and MGMT. The song has collected over 5 million Spotify streams to date and features lead vocalist Paul Banks singing from the perspective of a messiah-like figure.
