Over in Japan, thousands are being evacuated from Kansai International Airport after being stranded when the region was hit by a strong typhoon.
The Japan Times reported Wednesday that high-speed boats are being used to transport some 5-thousand people from the area to the nearby Kobe airport.
They've been stranded over there for a day, after the strong winds and high waves of Typhoon Jebi caused a tanker to crash into the only bridge connecting the airport to the mainland.
11 crewmembers were hurt in the accident.
The tanker was towed away early Wednesday, but due to the blackout and heavy flooding, the airport will be closed temporarily.
The natural disaster took at least 9 lives injured hundreds.
According to South Korea's foreign ministry, one Korean national has been lightly wounded.
The damage could have a large economic impact as the airport is an important hub for Japanese exports.
