The Afghan Taliban have announced that Jalaluddin Haqqani has died. Haqqani was the founder of a militant Afghan group that has been blamed for some of the deadliest attacks in Afghanistan recently. Jalaluddin has been a mainly ideological figure in the group for some years, after he passed all control onto his eldest son. Music: Jeremy Blake, 'heaven and hell'.
